Kiran Bhatraju is the founder and CEO of Arcadia, a global utility data platform
Arcadia’s software unlocks energy consumption and pricing data across 8000 utilities in 52 countries to help build resilient and clean power grids. Arcadia works with innovators across every sector of electrification and distributed generation, and is the largest manager of community solar projects with over 2GW under management across 16 states. Founded in 2014, Arcadia now has 800+ employees worldwide.
Previously, Kiran founded American Efficient, a virtual power plant software platform that was acquired by Modern Energy. Kiran began his career on Capitol Hill working on Energy and National Security issues. Kiran is a published author, sits on the Board of Solar Holler (Appalachia's largest rooftop solar company), and serves on the World Wildlife Fund National Council. Kiran holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a proud Kentucky Colonel.
