Jyot Bawa is President and co-owner of L.A. Gauge Company, an aerospace and defense manufacturing company specializing in ultra-precision machining of exotic materials and electro-optics. Prior to his current role, Jyot was a consultant at Bain & Company, leading teams in strategy engagements with global tech and telecom firms in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, and Dhaka.

Jyot's interests include investments in the labor force and digital infrastructure on which U.S. manufacturing companies rely. He is a board member of Empower Work, a non-profit organization that provides confidential, text message-based support for workers across the country. Prior to Empower work, he was the founding Director of New Leaders Council, Los Angeles -- an organization that mentors and trains young progressives for civic leadership.

Outside of work and service activities, Jyot enjoys CrossFit and travel. Jyot has a BS in Industrial Engineering and a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
