Madeline Albright, president emeritus of the Center for National Policy, will be speaking at the commencement ceremony for Dickinson College.
She is currently the chair of Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm, but has a history serving Democratic presidents. She was a member of President Jimmy Carter’s National Security Council and White House staff, she served as the president of the Center for National Policy from 1989 to 1992, and she was named the first female secretary of state in 1997, becoming at that time the highest-ranking woman in the history of the U.S. government.
